Terms and Conditions

When you place an order, you agree to provide accurate details about the recipient and occasion. Delivery timelines (48–72 hours for rush orders, or as stated for your selected package) begin once we've received all required information and materials from you. Delays in providing details or requested materials may delay delivery accordingly.

Each package includes a set number of revision rounds with your songwriter. Revision requests must be submitted within 14 days of delivery; requests after this window, or requests that fall outside the scope of the original brief, may be treated as a new order at our discretion.

By submitting photos, videos, names, or personal details, you confirm that: you have the right to share this content with us, and if the order involves a minor (anyone under 18), you are their parent or legal guardian, or you otherwise have the right and authority to submit their details and image. We will use anything you submit solely to produce and deliver your song and video card, except as described in section 6 (Intellectual property).

Payment is due at checkout. Orders are confirmed once payment is received. Pricing reflects the package selected at the time of purchase. Prices are inclusive of GST.

Revisions included in your package are the primary way to request adjustments to your song. Once a song has been delivered and your included revisions have been used, we don't offer refunds for dissatisfaction with the final result. This does not limit any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Fair Trading Act 1986, including your right to a remedy where a service hasn't been provided with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify those rights. Billing errors or non-delivery are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us at fantailsongs@gmail.com.

Once delivered, you own the rights to use your song for personal, non-commercial purposes. We would love to use excerpts of your song for our portfolio or marketing. We'll only do this with your consent — you'll be asked to opt in at checkout or after delivery, and you can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing fantailsongs@gmail.com. Orders involving memorial or tribute songs are never used for marketing, regardless of consent given elsewhere.

We collect the personal information you provide (names, photos, videos, occasion details, contact details) solely to create and deliver your song. We don't sell or share this information with third parties beyond what's needed to produce and deliver your order. These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be handled under New Zealand law and jurisdiction.
